After singing ‘Lagos to Kampala’ with Runtown, Wizkid has failed to fly into the city this weekend and Ugandans are not happy with him as a result.
The Nigerian pop star missed a concert scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 3 at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.
In a statement issued by the organisers, Wizkid was unable to fly into Uganda from, USA due to ‘unavoidable circumstances’.
Wizkid has apologised, but fresh hearsay suggests that the ‘Ojuelegba’ singer may have cancelled the concert due to the recent crisis in Kasese District, Uganda.
On November 26, about 14 police officers and 41 suspected attackers were confirmed killed in battles between joint Uganda forces and royal guards of the kingdom.
